There were thousands, yes thousands of dolphins that accompanied us into the anchorage at Isla Cubagua.
This wreck of a car ferry that caught fire in the late seventies, is at Cubagua. It apparently burnt for a week while the fuel tanks in the cars exploded one by one.
The fishing camp (squatters) at Cubagua, note the little pink chapel, fisherfolk are generally quite religious.
