Four boats are due in, dad said, as he raised the binoculars to his eyes, while I lay stretched out on the deck. My head hung over the boomkin as I gazed at the dancing patterns on the cool waters of Conception Island.

Will there be any children on the boats? I was thinking of our trip to Cuba where I hadn't seen another child in four months. A gentle breeze was blowing, just enough to keep the wind generator turning. I put on my snorkeling gear and slipped into the water. I took a deep breath, dived down and lay on the sand watching a Sting Ray watching me. It was about 14h00 and cool enough to go for a stroll along the beach. The beach is littered with Pansy Shells. At the end of the beach, the volcanic rock also known as "rip your feet coral". The volcanic rock abruptly ends in a wall of sandstone. Due to wind and water weathering caves have formed.
