Painting the boot stripe, new for Gilana
Jack surveys his new territory Jan 2000.
Scenes around Gilana while on the hard, the new boot stripe looks good unfortunately the anti fouling paint was to fail and required a second visit to the hard six months later to replace it. Good thing SIGMA stood behind their product and replaced the paint and paid half the haul-out costs.
Cronological scenes of the travelift picking up the boat and putting us gently back in the water. Note Liz on board, and me rushing around finding patches of unpainted hull where the supports were.
Gentle sea trials minutes after launch (with the sun awning still up.)
