Next we arrived at Isla Tigre. Each step westward brought an island a little more westernised.

Here Liz shows the kids the pebble tricks again.

These are Molas, which the Kuna women and some transvestite men make. It is reverse applique work with incredibly fine stitching. There are almost as many layers as colours, and each layer is cut out to reveal the colour on the layer beneath.
