A Honduran fishing boat puts its traps ashore for the off-season.
These fishtraps stacked to resemble some religious building.
They soon left into the sunset.
These islands do not exist on any chart. Navigation was "Interesting" here.
...
The birds are so unafraid of humans as they have never experienced predation.
The snorkeling here was incredible! Here a squadron of Tarpon (Megalops atlanticus) cruise by.
This one was about a metre long.
And this Cero (Scomberomorus regalis) was only a tad shorter. Unusual to be passed close.
This Dog Snapper (Lutjanus jocu) was soon to be supper.
Here is a better view. We thought this was a Red Snapper at first.
Butter Hamlet (Hypoplectrus unicolor)
Another Hamlet, possibly hybrid.
Hogfish, (Lachnolaimus maximus)
The Hard Corals were the healthiest we had ever seen anywhere.
