Cape Town and Caernarfon

During the time we spent at Almerimar, We decided to send Liz to visit her family in Cape Town. She Left on the 25 February and returned on the 2nd of May. The other big event that happened to us is that Granny left us to go and live in a home in Caernarfon in Wales. We miss her but Edna is in a wonderful home and the constant changes of environment are no longer a challenge. We know Edna is much happier now and we thank all the people who helped make it possible for her to move there. A special thanks to Pat and Dennis (Ere wheres me tea?!) of the boat Jersey Star for their help during this time. Edna is very special in many ways not the least of which is that she crossed the Atlantic ocean twice in a sailboat at an advanced age of 78 and 81 years. .... and Caernarfon

This is Willow Hall, Edna's new home. She is very happy here, making new friends and going for walks. The Address for those who would like to write to Edna is : Willow Hall Residential North Road, Caernarfon GWYNEDD LL551AT.

Edna's favorite passtime is walking. There are some beautiful paths surrounding the home.

Caernarfon Castle, is half a kilometre from Willow Hall.
