We cleared in to Guadeloupe in the charming little town and excellent anchorage of Anse Deshaies. It is not like the Caribbean at all, rather very French, very clean, very quaint.

A restaurant with its own dinghy dock at the southern end of the bay.

Local boats near the small fishing harbour.

Gilana waits for us patiently.

We left Deshaies for Les Saintes. Jack's ears were catching the breeze to help us sail.

Bourg des Saintes, the main town and anchorage.

Grand Anse on the eastern side.

Bourg des Saintes main street.
